PM Sitiveni Rabuka and Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister at Hydrabad House today – SUPPLIED

Prime Minister Sitiveni is meeting his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in New Delhi as  part of his first three-day official visit to India.

Mr Modi has welcomed Mr Rabuka at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

After the bilateral talks, Mr Modi will host the Fijian delegation for lunch.

Prime Minister Rabuka arrived in the Indian capital on Sunday, accompanied by his wife, Sulueti Rabuka, and a high-level Fijian delegation.

The delegation includes the Minister for Health and Medical Services, Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu, and senior government officials.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will also pay a courtesy call on the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

As part of his official engagements, Prime Minister Rabuka will deliver a keynote address titled “Ocean of Peace” at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA). His lecture will focus on regional stability, India–Pacific engagement, and the growing importance of maritime cooperation.
