KIWI artists Pieter T and Deach are back in the country.
The duo headlined a concert in Suva in 2015 and will once again showcase chart-topping music at Nadi’s 8 Knots today.
With DJ Peter Gunz, the trio will perform at a concert, which has been organised by VIP Events.
Pieter Tuhoro, known by his stage name Pieter T, said they were looking forward to entertaining the masses.
“We’re invited across by Peter Gunz to perform in Fiji again and the last time was in 2015, so we just wanted to come back and put on another show for the people of the islands,” he said.
“We expect it to be high energy. We perform in nightclubs all the time and we perform in Australia or New Zealand and our main aim is to keep people moving.
“We want to keep you on the dance floor and enjoying and watching the set, we have a lot of music that fans know and will love, we have a few covers as well just to keep the energy moving and it’s not the type of set where you come in and sit down, watch us and talk to your friends.
“It’s literally come in, hit the dance floor and that’s the key.”
According to the duo, they enjoyed performing in Fiji because the fans were truly genuine.
“Every time I come here everyone is so loving and caring, they are always caring, there are a lot of good people, it’s been a while since we have screaming fans,” Fred Faafou (Deach) said.
“Most of the times, especially in Australia and New Zealand, fans are quite standoffish but it’s wicked here.”
The show is expected to start from 8pm tonight.
