The highly anticipated battle between reigning light heavyweight Champion Paulo Ratumaikoro and Cruiserweight Champion Alifereti Kaucaya for the Cruiserweight title of Fiji is set to take place in 2025.
This event is part of the lineup for the Blue Water Boxing Promotion, organised by promoter Mohammed Sameer Khan.
The first of four exciting events planned for next year will feature this epic showdown as the main event, scheduled to be held on February 22 at the FMF Gymnasium.
Ratumaikoro, who is looking forward to the challenge, expressed his excitement for the upcoming match.
He acknowledged Kaucaya as a formidable opponent, given his status as the Cruiserweight Champion of Fiji and his extensive experience in the ring, both locally and abroad.
This will be my first program for next year, and I’m so excited. My opponent is a strong fighter; he’s the cruiserweight champion of Fiji and has a lot of experience, even fighting overseas.”
