More than 2000 young Seventh-day Adventist Church Pathfinders marched from the Suva Flea Market to Albert Park yesterday in a vibrant display of youth spirit.
Speaking to this newspaper, Fiji Mission youth director Senitiki Waqa said the event brought together Pathfinders from Central Eastern Region 1 and 2.
“Pathfinders are aged between 10 and 15 years,” Mr Waqa said.
“Over 2000 of them have gathered here today, coming from Navua, Namosi, the Suva area, Naitasiri, and more.”
He said the event featured 10 different activities where the young participants were tested and assessed.
“This is not only a fun day (annual children’s fair) for them to meet once a year.
“But it’s also an opportunity for assessment. Their achievements will be graded as A, B, or C, and they will receive pins recognising their accomplishments.”
