A 48-year-old pastor who labelled the COVID-19 vaccine as “evil” and “against biblical principles” appeared before the Suva Magistrates Court this week.
He was charged with six counts of malicious acts contrary to the Public Order Act.
Eleventh Hour Ministry pastor Tuiloma Tuitani Tawaivuna of Field 40, Lautoka appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
The accused posted a series of short videos he made on Facebook between February 10 and June 18.
Mr Ratuvili told the accused to deactivate his personal Facebook account and Eleventh Hour Ministry account until the end of court proceedings.
The accused was granted bail in the sum of $700.
The matter has been adjourned to August 27.
