Para Table Tennis settles for third place in New Zealand

A proud moment for the Team Fiji Para Table Tennis team as they clinched third place in the 2025 ITTF-Oceania Para Championships, held in New Zealand from September 26-28.

Competing against strong athletes from Australia, New Zealand, and other Pacific nations, our team showcased exceptional talent and determination throughout the competition.

The team’s outstanding performance resulted in six well-deserved medals, including gold in the women’s doubles and bronze in various singles and doubles categories.

These achievements not only highlight the skills and resilience of our athletes but also demonstrate Fiji’s growing presence in the international para table tennis scene.

With a final team ranking of third overall, Team Fiji Para Table Tennis has made the nation proud and proven that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

A heartfelt Vinaka vakalevu was given to the athletes and coach for their unwavering commitment and for representing Fiji with honor and excellence.
