Update: 1:09PM CHEYENNE Rova won Fiji’s first gold medal in swimming in the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea last night.
Rova won the 200 metres backstroke event in a time of two minutes and 30 seconds at the Taurama Aquatic Centre in Port Moresby.
PNG won the silver medal while Fiji’s Brooke Smith took the bronze medal.
The gold medal is also Rova’s first Pacific Games gold.
