Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill says they are anticipating 70,000 to 80,000 visitors per month during the festive season.

He said they would end the year with 980k to 1million visitors if things fall as anticipated in the last two months of the year.

“While there are always uncertainties, we have set an annual target and, based on flight availability and forward accommodation bookings, we anticipate 70,000 to 80,000 arrivals per month during the festive season,” he said.

“If we have a really strong last two months, we should end the year between 980k – 1m for the year.

“An outstanding result and well above forecast by all commentators.”
