A four-goal masterclass from Solomon Islander John Orobulu powered Stratum Construction Rewa FC to a dominant 6–0 victory over Partlink Automotive/Star Pools/Manasa Export/Equipment Express Nadroga FC in the first Super Premier match of the 2025 FMF Inter-District Championship at 4R Stadium, Ba, yesterday.
Best known as “the finisher,” Orobulu scored one goal in the first half before teammate Josaia Sela added two more to give Rewa a 3–0 lead at halftime.
Rewa continued their dominance in the second spell, with Orobulu netting three more goals to post four goals on the scoresheet and seal a 6–0 win at full time.
“It was a good game against Nadroga and now we have to prepare hard for our next match.
“We’ll take each game step by step and look to improve. Our goal is to qualify for the semifinal,” Orobulu said.
Orobulu, who was also the Golden Boot winner in the Extra Premier League, proved once again why he’s among the most lethal strikers in Fiji football.
Meanwhile, Nadroga coach Garfil Coaster congratulated Rewa on their strong performance.
“Congratulations to Rewa they’re always a tough team to beat.
“We put up a good fight in the first 20 minutes, but now it’s back to the drawing board as we prepare for our next game,” Coaster said.
