Fiji’s Olympic Day is more than just sports. It is a celebration of movement and unity. Originally a one-day celebration, Olympic Day has evolved into the “Let’s Move” campaign, a long-term movement inspiring daily physical activity leading up to LA 2028 Olympic Games and beyond.
With 1 in 4 adults and 80% of young people not meeting minimum activity levels (World Health Organisation), “Let’s Move” tackles inactivity by making sport social, fun and accessible. Research shows that 45% of young people are more likely to stay active when moving with a friend, reinforcing the power of shared experiences.
“Let’s Move” isn’t just about fitness – it’s about fighting loneliness, building friendships and strengthening communities through sport. As FASANOC partners with ADF and local organizations, this event embodies the Olympic values of excellence, friendship and respect.
So, bring a friend, tackle the ADF bootcamp and discover the joy of sport because #LetsMoveFiji starts with YOU!
