FIJI Water Flying Fijian Selestino Ravutaumada’s successful achievement on the rugby field started as a primary school boy when his parents went their separate ways.

The situation, his grandmother Aqela Ravutaumada said didn’t put him down, but he remained the strong-headed Naselesele boy who’d find jobs during the holidays and weekends to help out.

“I took him into my care when he was three years old and we moved to Lautoka.

He attended St Thomas Primary School and had no problems making new friends as he cared for everyone,” she said.

The Flying Fijians take on Georgia in its next match at the Rugby World Cup at 3.45am this Sunday.
