The New South Wales Police Force is appealing for public assistance to locate two teenage girls reported missing from Sydney’s south west.

Eleni Baleinadi, 13, and her sister Sera Baleinadi, 11, were last seen together at a home on The Avenue in Yagoona at about 10pm on Monday, 26 January 2026.

Officers from the Bankstown Police Area Command were notified of their disappearance and have commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Police and family members have expressed serious concerns for the girls’ welfare due to their young ages.

Both girls are described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160 centimetres tall and of medium build.

NSW Police said Eleni has long black hair with yellow streaks, while Sera has long brown hair.

Eleni was last seen wearing a green top and a green skirt. Sera was last seen wearing a black shirt and pink tights.

Police believe the girls may frequent the Sydney CBD, as well as the Woodbine and Leumeah areas.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Eleni or Sera Baleinadi is urged to contact Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
