NOVOTEL Suva Lami Bay has appointed Goktan Kavak as its new general manager.
Mr Kavak brings with him an extensive leadership experience across Fiji, the South Pacific, Middle East and Europe.
Mr Kavak has built his career with globally recognised brands including Hilton, Sheraton and Warwick hotel and resorts, according to a statement from the company.
He joins Novotel Suva Lami Bay from his most recent role as Warwick Fiji Resort general manager where he strengthened service delivery, enhanced guest experience, uplifted operational standards and supported leadership development, and had also contributed notable improvements in brand reputation, earning the resort Trip Advisor’s Best of the Best award.
In his new role, Mr Kavak will guide the hotel’s operational and commercial direction, with a focus on guest satisfaction, colleague growth and continued business performance.

“His experience and leadership will be invaluable to the property’s next chapter.”
Mr Kavak will report directly to Cluster general manager Jim Moore.
His appointment came into effect last month.
