Suspended Fiji Corrections Service Commissioner Francis Kean has resigned.
In a post on the Fiji Government Viber page, chairperson of the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC) and Attorney-General Siromi Turaga confirmed the COC had received notice of his resignation.
Mr Kean, who took office in 2016, was suspended on January 30 this year by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere on the advice of the Constitutional Offices Commission after complaints were made against him.
Salote Panapasa was then appointed the acting FCS commissioner.
