Former attorney-general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, former Fiji Airways executive Shaenaz Voss, former Fiji Airways general manager Sharun Ali, and a representative of Fiji Airlines trading as Fiji Link pleaded not guilty at the High Court in Lautoka yesterday.
They face 59 charges related to the unlawful carriage of a firearm on an aircraft.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum and Ms Voss were represented by Gul Fatima, Mr Ali by Wasu Pillay and Fiji Link by Nilesh Prasad while the State was represented by John Vaurasi.
The matter was called before Justice Sekonaia Vodokisolomone.
State lawyer Mr Vaurasi told the court the full disclosures had been served on the defence, adding that the State was requesting time for the pre-trial conference in this matter.
Ms Fatima requested to have this hearing in September, as she was engaged in another trial in Suva.
Justice Vodokisolomone has adjourned the matter to September 22, and bail for the accused has been extended.
