Five months after a fire destroyed the Defence Club in Suva, the cause of the blaze remains undetermined.

The building, which was built in 1915, was destroyed in a fire on February 27 this year.

The National Fire Authority attended the scene with about 40 on-and-off duty firefighters in an operation that took about seven and a half hours.

NFA officers said the investigations commenced the next day but there had not been any update so far.

Questions sent to the Fiji Police Force have also remained unanswered.
