More than a year has passed since the death of Labasa primary school student Jia Janvi and no one has been charged.
Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the file remained open as investigations continued.
No reasons were given why the police have charged no suspects yet. Janvi, a Year 9 student of Labasa College, was allegedly knifed behind her house in Namara in July last year.
Since her death, her mum has moved to Savusavu and relatives have pleaded with police to find the culprit.
Ms Naisoro said investigations continued.
