Fiji Airways has confirmed that a Fiji Link Twin Otter aircraft “slightly veered off the runway” while landing at Nadi Airport earlier today.
In a statement, the airline assured the public that all passengers and crew members were unharmed. “All customers and crew are safe, and no injuries were reported,” the airline said.
Fiji Airways added that an internal review is underway.
“Our teams are looking into the matter, and safety remains our highest priority,” the statement said.
The airline also extended its apologies to affected travellers.
Fiji Airways says its Reservations team will contact customers directly should any travel changes arise as a result of the incident.
The flight had arrived from Kadavu nad had 3 passengers on-board.
