The National Federation Party (NFP) senior executives and members of the Lautoka branch held a talanoa session in Lautoka recently when members discussed some of their concerns.
Assistant Foreign Affairs Minister and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Lenora Qereqeretabua alongside Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Sashi Kiran was present during the talanoa session as well.
“Thank you for travelling from Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki and those in Lautoka as well, we appreciate your presence here today,” said Ms Qereqeretabua.
She added they had come to listen to the party members in Lautoka and have a chat with them.
Ms Kiran said it was nice to see a lot of familiar faces.
“Thank you for availing the time as it is important for us to come down to you and listen to you.
“I know in the last few months, there is a lot of interest in termites and there is a lot of conversations and people are reaching out in regards to the assistance regarding the termites.”
Kamal Iyer said a properly constituted Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Lautoka Branch would be held in mid-August.
