INTEREST in Shreedhar Motors’ brand-new 2025 1.8L Next – Gen Ford Territory SUVs offering continues following its launch in Suva last week.
Shreedhar Motors chief executive officer Arvin Narayan said the launch was successful, with 12 units left in their showrooms following its launch last Wednesday.
“It’s a very good product and is a type of SUV that will fit very well in the market,” Mr Narayan said.
“The price is quite affordable; it comes with 1.8L turbocharged eco-boost engine paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.”
Mr Narayan said that they were able to sell a unit during the launch.
“We have been launching our products over the years and they have been very successful.
“The ground clearance is high, the interior design is very innovative and its comfortable, also the dashboard instrument is very well equipped with all its features, and this also includes the exterior design.” he said.
Mr Narayan said talks of bringing in the new edition of the SUVs to the Fijian market have been ongoing since 2023.
“This vehicle was displayed at a convention in Thailand.
“We looked at it and we said okay, this is a vehicle that will fit perfectly into the mid-segment SUV.
“Then we decided to start our negotiation with Ford to get these 2025 SUVs into the Fiji market.
“I’d like to say that the Ford brand has captured the market, and we look forward to seeing the new Ford Territory that we launched also capture the Fijian market.”
