The COVID-19 isolation ward at the Navua hospital received a timely donation today.
The Pearl South Pacific Resort handed over a new washing machine to the hospital.
The washing machine will be used by the healthcare workers stationed at the hospital’s isolation ward.
“Healthcare workers are on the leading edge of this pandemic, selflessly caring for patients in need while putting themselves in harm’s way day in and day out,” stated the resort on its social media page.
All COVID-19 cases from the southern and central divisions have been kept at the Navua hospital by the Ministry of Health.
