FARMERS can expect a new range of products at Nivis Motors and Machinery Co. Ltd, following the launch of their world famous — Kubota brand of agricultural tractor, excavators, grass mowers and other products. Kubota has been regarded as one of the best Japanese agricultural machines for more than 100 years.
Nivis Motors managing director Nirmal Singh said the launch was in collaboration with their suppliers, Kubota Tractor Australia, whose managing director Toshi Kawasaki also attended the function.
We share the same sentiments with the Ministry of Agriculture in making Fiji’s agricultural sector modern by introducing better and durable farming machines.
Mr Singh said the price range was competitive with other brands sold in the market, adding Nivis Motors as the sole distributors of the Kubota product in Fiji.
Apart from Motor vehicles, Mr Singh said they also imported and distributed the quality Silverstone and Ceat brand of tyres.
“We also stock and sell the quality INDEX brand of automotive batteries and are a major supplier of battery acid in Fiji,” he said.
He said the company was committed to its present and future customers with a dedicated team of staff and management and gives assurance to a quality product range and customer service at all times.
“The staff are very friendly and ready to assist customers with all their needs.”
Chief guest Agriculture Minister Inia Seruiratu said they are hoping to purchase the new product as well. He said the new product would help boost agricultural industry in Fiji
National product manager machinery Neel Kumar said the new product was very affordable and one of the well-priced machines in the Fijian market.
“We hope the agriculture industry will benefit as the government is trying to move to modernise farming and we hope this equipment will help achieve the Fijian Government’s vision of increasing Productivity in the agricultural sector.”
