The Coalition Government is committed to investing in the upgrade of facilities of government schools in this new financial year.
This according to Education Minister Aseri Radrodro.
Speaking at the commissioning of the new classrooms at Queen Victoria School on Thursday, Mr Radrodro said this was to benefit teachers and students’ learning.
“Education is the foundation upon which the future of our nation rests,” he said.
“And it is our duty to provide our students with a favourable learning environment.
“This new classroom commissioning is one such fulfilment of our duty to our students.
“This is reaffirmation of the commitment of Government in fulfilling Fiji’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4).”
