Fiji Airways has acquired two new ATR aircrafts, the first arriving on December 29, 2024, and the second on January 5, 2025.

The two ATR 72-600 aircraft, each with a seating capacity of 68, will be primarily used on Fiji Airways’ regional routes, including those servicing the Northern and Western divisions of Fiji.

“These two new ATR aircraft are a significant investment in Fiji’s domestic connectivity,” said Fiji Airways CEO and Managing Director Andre Viljoen.

“They are an important part of our commitment to providing comfortable and efficient travel options for our passengers and offering greater connectivity between our islands.”

“This fleet expansion will also help us continue to meet the growing demand for domestic travel, ensuring that we can provide increased capacity where it’s needed most.”

Fiji Link, the domestic and regional subsidiary of Fiji Airways, has also launched new uniforms for its staff, which are now aligned with the signature Fiji Airways uniform.

“The standardization of our uniforms across Fiji Airways and Fiji Link reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence and professionalism, ensuring that our crew represents the highest standards of service, and our passengers enjoy a seamless, consistent experience.”
