New jerseys for top rugby teams

ONE of Fiji’s leading hardware retailers and wholesalers, Kasabias Pte Ltd, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting grassroots rugby across the country by donating rugby jerseys to three top local teams.

Kasabias is proud to support the Devo Babas from Bua, the Village Boys from Suva, and the Sinukakala Amazons Women’s Rugby Team with brand new jerseys for their upcoming tournaments.

Marketing manager Nitinesh Chandra emphasised that grassroots rugby is the foundation of Fiji’s national sport.

He adds it is where young talent is discovered and important values like teamwork, discipline, and resilience are instilled, values that have guided Kasabias over the years.

“We believe that by supporting grassroots rugby through sponsorships, playing kits, and community engagement they are helping to build a stronger, more united Fiji,” said Chandra.

“Rugby is more than a game, it is a way of life that brings people together and inspires the next generation.

“We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to James from Kaiviti Rugby for his dedication and leadership in bringing this initiative to life.

“His passion for the game and commitment to community development are truly commendable.

“Kasabias is proud to stand with the players, coaches, families, and supporters who make grassroots rugby thrive.”

Devo Babas player Epineri Kanacagi expressed his gratitude for the new jerseys, saying that it is a great honour for the team.

With the Fiji Bitter 7s series approaching, the jerseys will boost the team’s morale and pride as they represent both Devo Babas and Kasabias.

The team has extended they’re thanks to Kasabias for their support, promising to play with high spirits and aim for glory in the upcoming competitions.
