NAMOSI Rugby Union has officially secured Navua’s Thomson Park as their new home.

This following the signing of a two-year lease agreement between the union and the Fiji Sports Council for $11,000 a year, last week.

Colonel Ifereimi Vasu, who represented Namosi Rugby Union, said the agreement would help in the development of the sport in the area.

The park will accommodate a number of sports which includes rugby, football, netball and community based gatherings for the people of Navua and Serua.

“I look forward to the opportunities that have opened up for the people of Namosi with today’s signing,” Vasu said.
