The Grasshoppers Netball Club’s under-12 and under-14 teams have left the country today to compete in the Queensland Nissan State Age Championship in Australia.

As they leave for abroad, the club’s 24 netters and six officials are ready for the competition and have overcome challenges to complete their preparations.

This, according to club secretary Adi Unaisi Ranavue, who said the team is fully prepared in a physical, mental, spiritual and social capacity.

“Despite the challenges, our club has stood resilient and with less than 24 hours left, we are confident and ready for departure,” Ranavue shared on Sunday.

She thanked the club’s executives, coaching staff and parents for their support in helping send the team to Australia for the competition.

Meanwhile, the club also presented its iTatau to the Suva Netball Association on Sunday.

The championship will take place from July 5-8 at the Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast.
