Netball Fiji is set to host a men’s Invitational tournament on August 4-7
The tournament will feature the Fiji Men’s team, New Zealand and Tonga.
Fiji Men’s head coach Jioweli Vakamoce said that they have completed their intense preparation phases leading up to the tournament.
“We have completed 10 weeks of training (two weeks of Phase three), and we have two more weeks before the August International tournament.
“We had also completed all the components of our assessment and the selection of the Fiji Men’s team last week which we’ve now selected our final 12 based on our assessment and selection criteria,” said Vakamoce.
Vakamoce named five debutants in his final 12-member squad.
The debutants included shooters Waisale Lasekula and Charlie Hoyte, centre Eroni Manu, and defenders Semesa Wainidroa and Anasa Waqa.
