Fiji Pearls head coach Unaisi Rokorua has named her side for the Netball World Cup which will be held in Cape Town South Africa and will start on July 27.

The extended side was divided into two teams, the Probables and the Possibles, where they had their last two trial games against visiting teams from New Zealand earlier this week.

“It has been an extended selection process to ensure athletes had every opportunity to earn themselves a spot in the Netball World Cup team.

“The selectors and I together with the specialist soaches Yvette McCausland-Durie and Cathy Fellows, are proud of all the athletes that put their hand up to trial and ultimately represent Fiji,” she said.

Rokorua thanked all the athletes for their hard work and commitment towards making the team to the World Cup for the past few months.

“We thank all athletes for their commitment and effort,” Rokoura said
