AFTER an illustrious playing career, former Flying Fijians winger Nemani Nadolo has embarked on a new journey as a coach.

After retiring from playing in 2023, he is now sharing his knowledge with young players.

His rugby journey began in 2008, making his professional debut with the Waratahs in Super Rugby.

From there, he ventured to Exeter and Bourgoin in France, before moving to Japan to play for the Green Rockets.

His return to Super Rugby saw him join the Crusaders, where he became known for his physicality and offloading skills.

Later, his time in Montpellier in the Top 14 cemented his status as one of the league’s most powerful wingers.

Nadolo’s impressive career also saw him represent Fiji 32 times, with standout performances in Rugby World Cups and other international fixtures.

Now, Nadolo is coaching at the Box Hill Rugby Club in Melbourne.

He is excited about this new chapter. In a post on social media, he said, “I’m thrilled to begin my coaching journey here with Box Hill Rugby. I’m thankful for the chance to work with the first Grade squad.”

He is also grateful to the Box Hill Rugby board for trusting him with this role.

He said, “As my playing days are over, I’m looking forward to learning and growing as a coach.”

Now, he is focused on helping others grow in the sport. He is ready to pass on his experience and inspire the next generation of players.

As he begins this new chapter, Nadolo remains eager to learn and grow, showing the same dedication to coaching that made him a force to be reckoned with on the field.

“This is an exciting new chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to learn, grow, and give my all to the journey ahead,” he said.
