Nadi Town with its growing population is expanding every day.
The dream is big as we want to be known as a city.
With everything is the traffic in Nadi during peak hours.
In the morning when school students and people are going to work the traffic is so big that they end up being late.
Is it that there are too many cars? Or are the roads less?
Or are the drivers and pedestrians not considerate?
All these are questions seeking answers. With all the enjoyment is a flaw in us.
The first week of school saw police officers being in intersections and crossings helping ease flow of movement and than they just disappeared.
I just wonder whether they were there to show that they are always there or they were helping.
I also don’t know when the streetlights will be fixed because pedestrians are just walking through the zebra crossing as if they don’t care causing a lot of hindrance to the motorists.
Now is the wake-up call for all authorities to be vigilant with their roles in assisting us Fijians.
Words need to be blended into actions, so that we have a city with no flaw holding us behind.
I know, we all can do it.
