The Navy team, champions of the Tabadamu 7s women’s division, is intensifying their focus on teamwork and defensive strategies in their quest for another victory this weekend at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
Their recent triumph over the Seahawks in a hard-fought 17-12 match underscored their exceptional performance and resilience under pressure.
Coach Talei Toga acknowledges the players for their dedication and hard work that reflect the team’s commitment to success.
With a keen awareness of the challenging competition awaiting them, the team is prioritising the strengthening of team cohesion and communication on the field to gain a competitive advantage in the upcoming tournament.
“The main thing we are working on is our teamwork and defence strategies on the field, it won’t be a walk in the park for us this weekend, we will try and do our best,” Toga said.
“The players know what they are supposed to do on the field and we are looking forward for an amazing week of rugby.”
