RIVER Tubing Fiji / Classic Travel Tours & Rentals Navua will now have to await the result of the Suva v Rewa match later today to determine if they make the semi-finals of the 2025 Extra Battle of the Giants next weekend.
This as the side was held 1-1 by Stratum Construction Nadi in their last group match.
Navua looked to have bagged the win after a Jared Rongosulia 30th minute penalty goal put them in front in the majority of the match.
A lapse of concentration and foul play cost them in the dying minutes when Nadi’s Tuiba Batiratu equalised from the penalty spot.
Navua will be hoping that Suva loses to Rewa at 2pm today to get them a place in the last four.
Meanwhile, Filipe Baravilala was named the Extra Player of the Match.
