Opposition MP Viliame Naupoto says the collapse of the Coalition Government was just around the corner.
Speaking in Parliament yesterday, he said he would not just sit and hope “and wishing that the Coalition will crumble” because he could “guarantee 100 per cent that that day will come and is coming”.
“Their actions and what they say don’t match,” Mr Naupoto said.
“I hope that the projected growth will be achieved and even increase, and I sincerely do for the benefit of the people that sent us here and to whom we owe service to the best that we can offer.”
He said he was disappointed “with the misinformation, the blaming, the excuses, and the name-calling that featured in about one-third of the budget address”.
“When finally, he came around, the honourable minister came around to talk about this new budget that I was waiting to hear, there was nothing new. For the most part, they just took the FijiFirst programs and ran with it.”
