Nauga kicks Tovolea to 10s victory

ALIVERETI Nauga kicked Tovolea to victory in the final of the Nadroga 10s tournament at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday.

Nauga, son of Nadroga rugby coach Esala Nauga, kicked a last-minute penalty for his side to beat Tuva.

Tovolea had to go the dreaded extra time play in both the semi-final and final to take victory.

In the semi-final against Army, Tovolea won a coin toss as after 14 minutes of play and six minutes of sudden death, neither team could score any point and the final decision was made through the toss of the coin.
