Fiji National Provident Fund-owned InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa scooped three awards at the 2023 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards in Denarau last Saturday.
The Natadola-based resort won the Luxury Hotel of the Year Award for over 50 rooms and the Spa Operator of the Year award.
It also won silver in the Confidence and Incentives Operator of the Year category.
IHG Hotels and Resorts Portfolio general manager Lachlan Walker said authentic, soul-enriching luxury hospitality was at the heart of their service.
“We love sharing Fijian hospitality and the natural beauty of this country with our guests from around the world, and we hope to continue to inspire incredible experiences with them through 2024 and beyond,” Mr Walker said in a statement.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our hardworking colleagues, our loyal guests, and our visionary owners, Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) for their tremendous support throughout 2023.”
Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) – another hotel in the FNPF-owned IHG Hotels family, was recognised as a runner-up for the ‘Luxury Hotel of the Year’ award.
The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards was established in 1991 and is the country’s premier tourism event that celebrates and acknowledges excellence in the industry.
