JOJI Nasova will make his long-awaited debut for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua when they take on the Hurricanes this Saturday, marking a major milestone for the rising winger as he earns his first opportunity on the Super Rugby Pacific stage.

Head coach Glen Jackson said the team has prepared well for the challenge, with strong focus on discipline, defence and maintaining intensity for the full 80 minutes.

“Joji gets his debut, we’re excited to y see him perform, a quality player, a quality man and it’s going to be great to get him on the field,” Jackson said.

Coach Jackson expects a tough contest, especially up front, but is confident the side is ready to respond strongly at home.

The Fijian Drua take on the Hurricanes at 3.35pm at the Lautoka’s Churchill Park on Sunday.

The Fijians are yet to win after two rounds of competition and will be looking for their first win of the competition.

The side will be on a bye next week before playing the Brumbies at 4R Stadium, Govind Park.
