SWIRE Shipping Fijian Drua centre Joji Nasova believes this Saturday’s 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Brumbies will be more than just another match.

The Toge, Ba native will have the rare opportunity to run out in front of his home supporters when the Drua take on the Brumbies at the 4R Stadium, Govind Park.

For Nasova, it will be a proud and emotional moment to play in Drua colours on home soil.

“This is the first Super Rugby game in Ba and we are all excited to come to Ba,” he said.

“It gives us a challenge to put on a good performance in front of our fans.”

The Ba native said playing in the West adds extra motivation for the players, knowing the passionate rugby supporters in Ba will be out in numbers to cheer them on.

“I would like to invite all the fans to come out in numbers and give us your support. It will be a good game.”

The visit to Ba has already been special for Nasova and the team. Yesterday, the Drua squad travelled to his village in Toge where they donated rugby kits to the local community.

Nasova said the gesture meant a lot to him and his villagers.

“It’s going to give us another fighting spirit,” he said.

With strong backing expected from the home crowd at Govind Park, Nasova and the Drua are hoping to deliver a memorable performance when they face the Brumbies.
