YASAWA Flyer Kalioni Nasoko is eager to lift his form in the Vodafone Fiji 7s team as the side prepares for this year’s 2017/18 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
But first up, the utility player is looking forward to battle against his national 7s teammates for a spot in the final 7s team.
After an impressive outing at the Yasawa North High School 7s in Nacula last week, Nasoko said his first priority was to win back his spot in the 7s team.
He said there were many new players also being named in the squad to battle for spots in the team.
Other prominent forwards also out to win back its spot include Jasa Veremalua, Apisai Domolailai, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Mesulame Kunavula.
“It will be very hard to secure my spot back in the national 7s team due to the abundance of talented players in the training squad,” said Nasoko.
“But again like other players — my aim is to secure a spot in the final team and most importantly to remain consistent in my performance.”
