Netball Queensland is pleased to announce former Fiji netball player Simone Nalatu has been appointed head coach of Queensland 17 and under for 2017.
The SunCoast Lynx coach brings a wealth of practical knowledge, having played for the Firebirds from 2004 to 2007, represented her native Fiji at the 2007 Netball World Cup and captained Queensland Fusion for their inaugural season in 2008.
Nalatu said she was delighted to get the chance to take the reigns of her first Queensland side.
“This is as exciting to me as when I made my first state team,” Nalatu said.
