New Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Challenge holders Naitasiri faces their toughest battle in the competition when they take on Nadroga in the final challenge of the prestigious trophy this weekend.

The Highlanders defeated Lautoka 27-21 in a thrilling encounter at Churchill Park on Saturday to dethrone the Maroons and set up a mouth-watering encounter against the Stallions this Saturday.

Naitasiri coach Ilaitia Tuisese Jr said the Farebrother Trophy was a different ball game altogether.

Following the win over the Maroons, he said: “We will think about Nadroga tomorrow and celebrate the victory over the Maroons.”

Naitasiri will be out to get their redemption against Nadroga after losing to the Stallions 27-36 during round three of  the Skipper Cup earlier this year.

The Highlanders also lost to the Stallions 20-29 during last year’s Farebrother Trophy challenge match at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.

Meanwhile in the Skipper Cup quarter-finals, which be played on June 8, Suva will face Ba, Naitasiri will take on Macuata, Nadroga will play against Tailevu, and Nadi will compete against Lautoka.
