Farebrother Trophy holders Naitasiri will be facing Macuata on Saturday in the quarter finals of the Skipper Cup competition.

The side defeated Nadroga 11-10 last weekend for the trophy and is now gearing up for the quarters at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Head coach Ilaitia Tuisese Jr says despite the impressive win over Nadroga at the weekend, his team will not be taking any team lightly as they head into the quarters of the Skipper Cup competition.

“We will treat each game like it is our last, and we will not be looking down at any team in the competition,” he said.

He said there were a lot of lessons learned from their match against Nadroga, and his side will be working on a few areas of weaknesses before the quarters.

“From our game against Nadroga, we saw a lot of areas where we lacked and where we delivered.

“A few things we will be working on before the quarters are our defence and our set-pieces.

“I believe the boys did well in these two areas but I know they can do better.

“If we can master these two areas, we should be fine.”

Meanwhile, in the other quarter final, Nadroga will be hosting Tailevu at Lawaqa Park, Ba will be going up against Suva at Albert Park and Nadi will be facing Lautoka on their home turf at Prince Charles Park.

In the Skipper Cup U20 quarters; Nadroga faces Lautoka, Suva takes on Macuata, Naitasiri plays Tailevu and Nadi will clash against Ba.
