RONALD Naidu is preparing for what he believes will be one of his toughest and most challenging fights when he steps into the ring next Friday at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

Naidu, who hails from Nasau, Nadi, will face Kaliova Tahikia in a 6×3 contest fight in the lightweight category under the BlueWater Boxing Promotion.

Speaking about his build-up, Naidu said his preparation has been smooth and consistent.

“Preparation has been good, so far so good, looking forward to this fight,” Naidu said.

The Nadi boxer anticipates a tough contest against his young opponent but remains confident in his strategy and ring experience.

“I know he is a young kid he will come but i have got plans for him maybe stronger then me, maybe faster but he is not smarter then me, I’m ready to go,” he said.

With excitement building up for the promotion, Naidu has urged fans to turn up in numbers to witness an entertaining night of boxing.

“Message to all my boxing fans to come out in numbers, it will be a good night of boxing and there will be fireworks,” he added.

The BlueWater Boxing Promotion is expected to showcase a thrilling line-up of fights, with Naidu’s bout against Tahikia set to be one of the highlights.
