Local architect Adish Naidu was appointed to the Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) Board effective from April 25, 2023.
A media statement from the FNPF yesterday said Mr Naidu was appointed in accordance with Section 7 of the FNPF Act and replaces Kalpana Lal whose term on the FNPF Board had ended.
A member of the Associate of New Institute of Architects in New Zealand, Mr Naidu is a registered architect with the New Zealand Architects Registration Board and the Fiji Architects Registration Board and served two two-year terms as president of the Fiji Association of Architects.
Mr Naidu brings with him more than 35 years of experience and has worked on various projects locally and abroad as an architect and project manager.
According to the statement Mr Naidu has also served in various capacities with the Airports Fiji Ltd, Fiji Development Bank, Pacific Green Industries, and University of the South Pacific, amongst others and has received various awards for the projects he has worked on.
The fund said Mr Naidu’s experience in building and architectural products would contribute immensely to the FNPF’s growing investment portfolio, particularly through their asset management and projects.
