A spectacular new $7 million premium waterfront coffee bar and dining venue is set to open its doors on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2026, promising to redefine the hospitality scene and become a flagship destination for corporate, tourism, and local markets.
Situated on a prime waterfront location, the development represents a major investment in architecture and interior fit-out, delivering a world-class dining and lifestyle experience with breathtaking waterfront views and modern hospitality facilities.
The venue will operate from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Tuesday to Sunday, offering everything from early-morning specialty coffee and breakfast to upscale evening dining and bar services.
A major highlight is the appointment of a renowned high-profile Chinese chef from China, who has previously worked as a head chef in New Zealand and Japan. He will lead the culinary team and introduce authentic and innovative Chinese cuisine, complemented by Western and Indian menu options. Management says the concept is designed to meet international culinary and service standards, setting a new benchmark for dining in Nadi.
The facility spans a substantial footprint, with approximately 700 square metres dedicated to restaurant and bar space, 1,200 square metres for a hall and stage, and 800 square metres of lounge areas. The total floor area is 3,694 square metres, including three kitchens, two stages, waiting lounge, washrooms, private rooms, offices, storage areas, and open spaces.
Designed to host large-scale events, the venue can accommodate up to 300 guests on the first floor, which includes a stage, VIP room, bar, kitchen facilities, office and boardroom. The ground floor lounge will cater for over 100 guests, with an additional 200 seats across the restaurant and coffee bar areas, making it ideal for corporate functions, tour groups, and private celebrations.
Guests will enjoy a range of premium facilities including a Bar and Bar Lounge, dedicated Pizza Lounge, and a Specialty Coffee Bar featuring an extensive selection of blended coffees. Outdoor seating and traditional waterfront bures enhance the ambiance, creating a unique blend of luxury and island charm.
The development will offer ample paid parking and dedicated access for taxis, buses, yachts and other arrivals, ensuring seamless access for visitors and residents of the wider Fantasy Island community.
To maintain a refined and upscale atmosphere, a strict smart dress code will be enforced. The venue will be supported by highly trained service staff, delivering a polished and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.
This landmark opening is expected to become a signature waterfront destination, attracting locals, tourists and corporate clientele, and positioning the development as a premier hospitality hub in the region.
Developer of Fantasy Island, Abbas Ali, said the establishment forms part of the broader Fantasy Island development by Fantasy Island Resorts Pte Ltd trading as Coffee Outback.
Mr Ali said he had observed a significant decline in the standard of coffee shops and food outlets in Nadi, and believes there is an urgent need for regulatory bodies to raise benchmarks to improve service quality, food standards, and operating premises.
“The general public deserve a much higher standard of service and food,” Mr Ali said.
“This is what prompted me to invest heavily in this project, even though it is not my area of expertise.”
