DAUD’S hair salon owner Nameeda Bano said her business experience of 55 years enabled her to be well-prepared when natural disasters strike.
“We were lucky,” she said.
“The water just reached two steps up to our storefront.”
“The main issue about the town area is the drainage problems.
“The town council should clean the market area, it’s really filthy.”
Despite the challenges, Ms Bano and her team were well-prepared for the flooding.
“We knew we had to come early to put things up.”
