The Suva Musicians Association held their annual general meeting at the Fiji Arts Club in Suva on Saturday.
More than fifteen renowned local artists with the likes of Seru Serevi, Saimoni Vuatalevu, and Cathy N Rice attended the meeting and participated in the discussion of the club’s affairs, elected members into positions and re-invented ways of moving the club forward by developing strategic monetary means.
Fiji Performing Rights Association (FIPR) chairman Eremasi Tamanisau Jr was also present and said he had seen the progress of the club over the five years since its inception and was looking forward to the big plans the club had in store for Fijian music.
