The village of Naviyago in Lautoka rouse to the sound of music when the national youth brass band delivered a memorable birthday surprise performance for the Youth and Sports Minister, Jese Saukuru’s birthday.
The youth band, yesterday (December 26) wanted to surprise their minister as he turned 55.
The band, according to the Ministry put together the surprise performance with the Ministry staff.
They had travelled together to Lautoka for the heartwarming surprise.
According to the ministry, the band performed a soulful rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song,” leaving the minister deeply touched. In a heartfelt speech, the Minister expressed his overwhelming gratitude for the unexpected visit and the beautiful gesture.
He tearfully admitted that he never dreamt of the national youth brass band and the Ministry coming all the way to his village to wish him a happy birthday.
The Minister extended his heartfelt appreciation to each band member and staff, acknowledging the special treat that will forever be etched in his memory.
