Lockyer State High School edged Muaira Academy 20-12 in a friendly rugby league match at Churchill Park on Wednesday evening.
Despite the loss, Muaira tournament coordinator Vela Nadakuitavuki was proud of his young side.
“Our Muaira boys did well despite having only two to three days of preparation. They still managed to score three tries against Lockyer’s four. It just shows we have talent here,” Nadakuitavuki said.
