The four-byfour experience with TCS – rough terrain mode system:
For more assured handling, the BT-50’s Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) with Traction Control System (TCS) electronically allocates braking force to each wheel to support safer driving on rough surfaces.
Now TCS features two modes, Normal and Rough Terrain, to more closely match the challenges posed by driving conditions such as extreme off-road situations where Rough Terrain mode manages both the brakes and engine for ultimate traction control.
To combat wheelspin in heavy snow or mud, the electromagnetic rear differential lock activates instantaneously, maximising drive power to help escape the situation.
Rough Terrain Mode System has been designed to assist when driving on wet unpaved roads, when you require more towing power than what is possible in regular two wheel-drive mode, when one of the rear wheels becomes stuck in a ditch or mud, or when driving through deep mud, wet and hilly terrain, or on rocky surfaces giving a truly dynamic and effective four-by-four driving experience.
Centre display and equipment
The multi-information display on the Instrumental cluster has been enlarged to a seven inch TFT panel.
The improved visibility bolsters safety and improves integration with the centre display.
The central contents display area shows audio information as well as other relevant information such as the trip meter and drive mode.
You can also use the steering switch to select which contents are displayed.
Depending on the model grade, Center Panel sizes of eight or nine inches are available imposing a smart center display which is equipped with the infotainment function and allows you to change the settings of various equipment via the easy-to-use touchscreen.
You can use the centre display (touchscreen) to access your favourite features from your iPhone with Apple CarPlay™. You can make calls, send messages, play music, get directions, and more through the screen and with your voice using Siri, further enhancing convenience.
Additionally, with Android Auto™ connectivity, giving you a safer access to your favourite maps, media, and messaging apps direct on your BT50 Infotainment display. Complementing this is the six-speaker sound system which delivers an impressive and superior, clear mid to high range sound experience befitting a pickup truck.
